What’s good Slim? I see you’ve dropped Money Talks the mixtape album. How are you feeling about your first official street project?

Im chillin thanks. I feel good about it this project I’m comfortable with it, especially this being my first joint. It only gets better from here on out

What is your favorite track on Money Talks, and what made you choose it?

If I had to choose it would be Me All Day. I got radio spins off that joint. that song is kinda special to me.

I see you’re a lyrical rapper, do you find that to be a more “career killer” or do you feel that’s the signature style to get you from unsigned to signed artist?

“Career killer” hahahahahahaha nah being lyrical is never a “Career Killer”. I try my hardest to not cater to what everybody else is doing. The most influential artists did what they thought was hot not what the mass followed. To Be lyrical is a gift not everyone can do it.

I see you rep Brooklyn NY and I’m sure outside of the obvious artists that come outta Brooklyn who is the next artist you think that can hold the borough down?

Joel Ortiz I been following him for a while he’s very talented and consistent.

Where do you see the current state of Hip Hop right now? I mean with it being a popular statement calling it dead and where do you see it now and going?

Hip hop will never die it just grows. It may not grow in the direction that a lot of people would like, but that’s life. Its like raising a child from birth. As it gets older its gonna make mistakes but it will always come back home. Just be patient .

Everyone is talking about New York like ya’ll are an endangered species in Hip Hop lol Do you agree?

Hip hop started in new York. No one can take that from us. But it’s a multi-cultural now, its bigger than any color, state, city, or country, hip hop is loved all over the world. As long as no one forgets who built this, do ya thang fuck it.

Well honestly you have to admit it seems like NY is the target of a lot of criticism. Where do you think this sudden occurrence came from?

From us. we hate on everyone including ourselves. So you gotta expect that hate to come back to us. Hip hop is from the streets if somebody talk shit about u what are you gonna do? Talk shit back right. So it the same mentality.

You know we are The Kix Fix 4 Addix so we gotta ask… what is your favorite Brand shoe to get you around the streets of NY?

What else? Its Nike or nothing. Lol im lying I love my Timbs im a Brooklyn nigga but its always Nike first.

If you can choose a shoe to define NYC… which shoe you choose?
